Today on the podcast, I am talking about the Blondee apple. This apple is actually a type of Gala apple that came from a mutation on a Gala tree! In this episode I will talk about how a yellow apple came from a red apple and where I have found the best tasting Blondee apples in the country.
I have done a full write up on this apple variety on my blog in the past, that you can read right here - Blondee apples
Have you seen this variety before at a farmer’s market, orchard, or farm stand?
If you have had this apple before, I would love to hear from you. Hit the comment button below and share your thoughts on it.

In the summer time you may be to find a grocery store that carries apples from New Zealand. Check out this post from my blog talking about them (there is a podcast to go with it) - Apples from New Zealand.
