May's Apples of the Month
In this newsletter, I am sharing what are the best apples to be buying in the month of May.
While May is not the most glorious time of year for apples, there are still ones that are worth buying. Let’s take a look at what I like to buy this month.
One thing to note about Wild Twist apples. They are grown one both the east coast and the west coast. The ones I have had that were grown on the east coast were more flavorful in my opinion. I had some Washington grown ones and the quality hasn’t been as consistent. But I am still finding them better than other apples I have been eating this time of year, so I keep going for them.
If you are interested I have a month by month guide to what are the best apples to be buying from January to December. It’s part of my premium content.
Until May 10th, I am offering 50% off of an annual membership, so instead of $50 a year, it will be $25 a year. This helps support my business as well as give you access to plenty of bonus content and guides including my store by store guides, stories from the orchards, and more.
Reminder - If you love what you are seeing in this email, make sure you hit the LIKE (heart) button. Thank you for everyone that did last week. I am seeing more LIKES and I love it so PLEASE keep it up.
Nothing new really to report this week. It’s been pretty quit on the apple front. If I see any good sales soon I will let you know.
Thanks everyone for continuing to request new stores be added to my apple store guides. This week I added 3 news store per your requests - Food Lion, Stop & Shop, and ShopRite. I got requests for Giant, Safeway, Nob Hill, Hannaford (I miss Maine!), and Whole Foods that I will be working on this month. Harris Teeter was requested as well, but since they were acquired by Kroger the apple selection should be pretty much the same, so look at my Kroger guide for that.
What grocery store would you like me to do next? Put your request in here.
If you haven’t watched the video yet check out - How to Get the Most from These Apple Emails, so you don’t miss out on any of the features. I am going to do a 2nd part soon.
Last week I talked about the King David apple in my Unheralded Apple series. Head over to my blog if you want to read more about it.
If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. I hoped you enjoyed today’s newsletter. See ya next week!
