Grocery Store Apple Guides
Get my my guides to buying apples at different grocery stores across the country. I will be adding a new guide each week.
Over the last 4 years my family and I have been traveling the country in our camper. This has given me the chance to visit grocery stores from coast to coast and learn about what varieties of apples you can expect to find in those stores.
I am taking that knowledge and creating apple guides for all the major grocery store chains. Each week I will be adding a different guide. You have the chance to help influence which store I do next by leaving a comment below and requesting your favorite stores.
Each guide can be downloaded to your phone or PC. It will contain my tips on shopping for apples at that store along with a description and ratings for each apple variety I have found there beyond the ones that every store has like Gala, Honeycrisp or Granny Smith.
Here is an example of a page from the guide for Cosmic Crisp apples:
These are for paid subscribers only (with the exception of 1 FREE guide a month, see below). A paid subscription costs $5 a month or $50 a year you have access to all the guides whenever you want along with these perks of being a part of the community. I thank you for supporting my small family business.
Stores available right now include:
ALDI
Costco
Cub Foods
Food Lion
Hannaford Market
HEB
Hy-Vee
Kroger
Market Basket
Meijer
Publix
Real Canadian Superstore
ShopRite
Sprouts

Here are some things to keep in mind:
The Kroger guide will apply to any Kroger owned stores including but not limited to Fred Meyer, Smith’s, Ralphs, Harris Teeter, Fry’s, etc.
Also note that Stop & Shop and Giant stores sell basically identical varieties of apples, so use the Stop & Shop guide if you are going to be shopping at a Giant store. Hannaford Market is also part of the same company but their apple selection is different so they have their own guide.
Each month I am going to offer one of our store guides for free for every subscriber. This month it’s my Walmart Apple Guide!
Leave a comment to request a store and become a paid subscriber to access all the guides.
