🥁 Apple Survey Results!

In this newsletter, I am sharing some of the results of my recent apple survey.

Thanks for everyone that has been filling out the apple survey. I appreciate you so much and your wonderful feedback.

Here are some things that you said you wanted me to cover:

• How long do apples stay fresh and is it better to keep them in the refrigerator or on the counter??

• Your favorite apples, which apples make the best Applesauce, More recipes, especially easy ones!

I wanted to take a moment to ask you about your tart apple buying habits. Please check one of the options below.

I am going to work on a guide for tart apples, watch for that in the coming weeks.

Let me share with you what apple variety I got at the farmer’s market this morning.

These are one of my early season favorites - the Gravenstein apple. When they are at peak they are one of the best tasting apples, but it can be a challenge to find good ones. Check out my blog post on Gravenstein apples to learn more.

• Review early season varieties. Look over any of these early season varieties that you could come across so you know whether you may want to buy them or not - Lodi, Transparent, Pristine, Vista Bella, Prima.

• Do you live in Oregon or Washington? If you do I want to hear from you. Leave a comment and share with me your favorite apple orchards. I am going to be in those states all of apple season, so I am looking to check out as many orchards as I can.
