In this newsletter, I am talking about what apples you can buy that are comparable to McIntosh apples.

I come across a lot of people that love McIntosh but have moved to a part of the country where they are hard to find. They are easy to find in the Northeast and Midwest states in the month of September but if you have moved down south and west, not so easy to find. So I created that list for those that love McIntosh but can’t find it but want to find something else they would like.

Review early season varieties. Look over any of these early season varieties that you could come across so you know whether you may want to buy them or not - Gravenstein, Pristine, Vista Bella, Prima.
Do you live in Oregon or Washington? If you do I want to hear from you. Leave a comment and share with me your favorite apple orchards. I am going to be in those states all of apple season, so I am looking to check out as many orchards as I can.
